LAS VEGAS -- It's hard to believe, but KevinIole.com is already a month old. I'm very proud of what I've been able to accomplish with this site in such a short period of time. I've gotten overwhelmingly positive reviews for the website and my logo, and people clearly like the content.

While I am pleased, too, I want to make this vow: You ain't seen nothin' yet!

I think it's been good, but it's going to get a lot better. I want to do the kind of content that you want to read and watch, and I want to be able to engage with those who use this site on a regular basis. I've churned out what I believe to be an extraordinary amount of content, both written and video, since I began while also working on business matters to build the company.

As I get things settled on the business side, that will allow me to devote more time on content creation, which is my passion.

Here are a couple of points of emphasis for me in the next few months:

• I want to get a more active, robust community of fight fans talking about the fights. I have commenting turned on for all stories and I try to reply to every comment that's been made. But that's only one way of engaging. You can also on my site create your own topics and engage in discussion with fight fans around the world.

To do that, click on the Fight Chatter tab in my menu bar. When you do, this is what you'll see:

If you click a comment bubble under a story, your comment will be attached to that story. But if you click the comment bubble at the top, that will enable you to create your own topic related to combat sports, where others can respond. I will not censor your opinion. As long as the topic is on combat sports and you do not attack others, use profane language or otherwise try to spam the site, you can make whatever points you wish to make. I just ask that you act like adults and refrain from abusive behavior.

It's free to comment, but you have to register in order to comment. If you click the bubble and you're not registered, you will be prompted to create an account. You will not receive any email from this site unless you sign up for notifications.

• We will soon have apps for iOS and Android to use. They'll be free downloads, but they'll scale very well for mobile and when they're ready, I would encourage you to download them once they're released.

• I encourage you to subscribe to my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/keviniole/. I will have interviews on there all the time and I'll do comments, etc, from time-to-time. I'm also going to be hosting live chats on a regular basis. I will embed those interviews into my stories here.

• I strive for accuracy as well as try hard to avoid typos. I am human, though, as well as a one-man operation and sometimes a mistake slips past me. If you see one, I would appreciate you letting us know by emailing editor@keviniole.com. If you are interested in advertising with us, please use info@keviniole.com.

• My biggest emphasis, though, is to make this site as compelling and useful as I can, and so I need your help on that. Let me know what you want to see more of, or what type of content you would like to see and I'll do my best to adapt.

I'm proud of where I have come in such a short period of time. I was among a large group laid off on Dec. 1, and by Jan. 22, 2024, this site was live.

I am grateful to all of the promoters who have continued to credential me and given me access to their fighters and their events. It makes it infinitely easier to do the kind of job I want to be able to do to have access to the fighters and to be on scene at events.

I'm going to be busy, and I know that. As an example, on three days in March are three events which I'd cover in person if I could be at all of them. On March 7 in Paris, PFL Europe opens with a bout at Accor Arena that will be streamed on DAZN. In the main event, it will be Cedric ‘The Best’ Doumbe taking on Baissangour "Baki" Chamsoudinov in a battle of unbeatens.

The next day, on PPV.com, will be the fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between former boxing heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and ex-UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. I will be working with PPV.com and the Hall of Famer Jim Lampley to do a live chat during that event.

On Saturday, March 9, UFC 299 will take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, with Sugar Sean O'Malley facing Marlon "Chito" Vera in the main event. I will be in Miami to cover that live, but I will have plenty of coverage of all of the shows that week.

I believe in what I'm doing and I'm excited to see the growth. I have some major advertisers lined up and I hope to be able to travel more as the site's income increases. I also believe in spending money to make money and I'm going to do the best possible job to run this site in a highly professional, first-class manner always.

If you haven't already, please register for a free account and start making your opinion heard. As always, it's free to use. And check. back often because we're going to update frequently.
