There will probably be no shooeys, but there will be heavy hands being thrown aplenty when veteran Australian KO artist Tai Tuivasa takes on Marcin Tybura on March 16 at Apex in the main event of UFC Fight Night.
Tybura, ranked eighth at heavyweight, is in desperate need for a win. He has dropped three in a row, getting TKO'd by Ciryl Gane and Sergei Pavlovich and submitted with an Ezekiel choke by Alexander Volkov in his last outing at UFC 293 on Sept. 10. It's the second time he's lost three in a row.
But he's one of the most heavy-handed fighters in the sport and 13 of his 14 victories in his MMA career have come by TKO.
Tybura will be fighting for the first time since being stopped by interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
The co-main event features lightweights Thiago Moises against Brad Riddell.
