UFC CEO Dana White joined me today and we covered a variety of topics. We hit on a lot of topics related to UFC 298. Of course I asked him about the main event of UFC 300. We talked about the success and the growth of Power Slap. And he explained why Conor McGregor hasn't been fighting.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

• At 1:50, White says "Volkanovski is just different," and goes on to talk about why he's maintained success at an age where no other featherweights have.

• At 2:45, White compares UFC 298 title challenger's Ilia Topuria's experience to Volkanovski's.

• At 4:45, White talks about the UFC's success adding depth and talent to all of the divisions.

• At 7:50, White talks about Robert Whittaker and the importance of his UFC 298 fight Saturday with Paulo Costa.

• At 10:00, White discusses Ian Machado Garry and some of the controversy that has surrounded him.

• At 11:30, I ask about the fight between Henry Cejudo and Merab Dvalishvili. White says both have made major career mistakes. "Saturday night is a big deal for both of these guys," he said.

• At  13:37, White discusses the UFC 300 card and the card in September he's planning to put on at The Sphere in Las Vegas. He's said that will be the greatest combat sports event ever. He explains what he meant and why they're different.

• At 17:11, White answers my question about Power Slap and he goes on about the success. He said people are already looking to invest in it.

• At 20:50, White explains what he thinks is the appeal of Power Slap to fans.

• At 23:27, White tells where the first big Power Slap Arena event might be held.

• At 26:42, White says Charles Barkley made a big score gambling after the Power Slap event.

• At 27:07, White explains why Conor McGregor has been out for so long and why he isn't headlining UFC 300.
